as the horses prance and neigh,
waiting for the annual parade.
The costumes for the pageants are sewn and crocheted.
The Gingerbread houses and cookies amaze,
creating an impressive array.
Ornaments and tinsel fill the store window displays.
The florists feature red and berries in all bouquets.
The carolers sing with joy and sway,
while Santa and his team prepare the sleigh,
Everyone is ready for the Christmas holiday!
Our spirits fly Up, Up and Away, as we await Christ’s birthday.
Hip, hip, hooray, good times are on the way.
May all woes and strife be put at bay.
May the beauty of Christmas linger and stay.
May we continue in the spirit and celebrate,
May the glow and goodwill from Christmas always remain.
